The practice operates six completely modern treatment rooms. Each have their own intra- oral x-ray unit and in addition we have an x-ray unit for whole mouth x-rays. The practice is fully computerised, with terminals in each treatment room along with the reception terminals and staff room. All treatment planning is done purely on the "Arthur" dental computer system. There is also a patient reception area and reception desk, C.S.S.D. (Central Sterilization and Stores Department), staff room and further storage areas. The practice provides the full range of current National Health Service dental care, as well as further items of treatment under private contract, or our Dental Care Plans Dr. John Bates carries out more complicated orthodontic treatment (straightening teeth) within the practice and refers to a consultant orthodontist at a specialist centre for very complex cases. The practice refers special cases to hospitals and clinics in the local area if necessary, for a consultant opinion or specialist treatment.
