| 1/07/08 Dr Chris Needham leaving He is unfortunately leaving us in August. We wish him well running his own practice in Bramhall. We have appointed Dr Sajida Tanveer to replace him from September, working Wednesdays and Thursdays. She joins us from Bredbury Dental Practice, previously having worked in both General Practice and Hospitals. Sajida is married to a GP and has four children. 23/06/08 Hygienist service to be expanded The service from Sarah has been very well received by the patients who have seen her so far. We are very pleased to have obtained her services full time from September. please ask if you would like to see her. For appointments not covered by our plans, or for NHS patients wishing to use the service the feee is £31. 18/02/08 Welcome to Sarah Sharples Dedicated hygienist/therapist Sarah Sharples has now joined the team. Her main role will be to provide intensive oral health care, which may include your scale & polish with plaque control, to help you attain high levels of dental health. Our
reception team will be happy to arrange your extended appointment with Sarah
when you book your dental health check appointment. For those on our adult dental plans the cost of this
appointment will usually be covered in your monthly payment. Any questions – please ask our reception team. 5/10/07 Welcome back to Rebecca We welcome back Rebecca Teasdale who rejoins us after successfully completing her Access course, she hopes to leave us in the future to start training as a Dental Therapist. 7/9/07 Congratulations to Clare Marsden (nee Draper) and David on their Marriage in New York (Broadbottom!) we wish them all the best for a happy future together. 7/9/07 Welcome to Julie We welcome Julie Buckley to the practice, an experienced and qualified Dental Nurse who has worked at a number of practices, most recently for NHS Direct and Simmondley Dental Practice. She will be working for us on a part time basis. 28/6/07 Au Revoir Laura We wish Laura Douglass all the best as she leaves us to concentrate on her career in accountancy. 27/6/07 Dr Cornwell Leaving We are sorry to announce that due to an impending move to the South of England Dr Cornwell will unfortunately not be returning to the Station House Dental Practice. Her patients will have their care provided by either Dr Amanda Dixon or Dr Paul Dixon and we trust that this will prove acceptable. We appreciate a change of dentist can be unsettling and we will of course do all that we can to smooth the transition. If you have any preference as to which dentist you wish to see or any other queries, please contact reception who will be happy to discuss all possible options. 4/5/07 Congratulations *2 Congratulations to Vicky and Lee on the birth of Ruby Lois 26/3/07 Congratulations Congratulations to Jennifer Cornwell on the birth of Bethaney Rose on Friday 23/3/07 21/3/07 Maternity *2 Vicky Ryan has left on maternity. 6/02/07 Maternity As some patients may be aware Dr Cornwell is expecting. She will be leaving on maternity on friday 16th march. Dr Amanda Dixon will be providing extra sessions to arrange cover for her patients. Dr Cornwell hopes to be returning by September 2007.
