              | 18/11/11 Changes NHS Tameside and Glossop are making to NHS Orthodontic (brace) contracts These are being changed from 1st April 2012 please see here for important information if you are under NHS brace treatment or on our waiting list for NHS brace treatment. (no change for Private brace treatment) 01/09/11 Top Rating for Brace Treatment Brace treatment provided was recently assessed by the NHS Orthodontic reference officers, and given top rating in all six areas. 26/08/11 Charity Abseil The team are doing a Charity Abseil on Saturday 15th October at Millersdale Bridge in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign. More information and link to donate here 26/08/11 Open Day We are holding an open day on Saturday 10th September 10-2. This is an opportunity for existing and new patients to look round the practice, and discuss any dental queries they may have with the team. Further info here 28/03/11 New Sterilisation Area We have moved our two current sterilisation areas into one new central sterilisation room during February and March. This has allowed us to create an expanded sterilisation facility enabling us to continue exceeding current essential standards. Our Autoclaves are now joined by two washer disinfectors.
21/03/11 Congratulations to Hayley Hayley has now passed her NVQ3 in Dental Nursing which will allow her to be a fully registered Dental Nurse 1/03/11 Mr Tamplin changing surgery hours With effect from 1st April 2011 Mr Tamplin will no longer be holding surgeries on Fridays. This may cause some delays in arranging appointments, but we hope this will not cause any undue inconvenience. He

10/3/10 National Orthodontic Week 22-28 March 2010
During NOW Station House Dental Practice staff will be proudly wearing their NOW t-shirts and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about orthodontics. There will be a display giving information about orthodontic treatment. Further information is available here 8/2/10 Change of Dentists Sajida Tanveer will be leaving us at the end of March to work closer to her childrens school. We have appointed Laura Gill who will take over care of her patients. She will be working Tuesdays and Wednesdays from April and Thursdays in addition from June. Laura Gill qualified from Newcastle in 2004 and has worked for a number of years in Hartlepool. After getting married she spent a year working in Australia. 5/11/09 Wear it Pink Thank you for all who have contributed to the raffle, badges etc. A grand total of £187.13p has been raised. Thank you 15/10/09 Change of therapists We are sorry to be losing Sarah Sharples, who will be relocating to Lincolnshire at Christmas, after successfully starting our hygienist/ therapist service. we have been fortunate to appoint Nicola Mottram, who has been
working in the dental field for many years including Durgan and Ashworth
in Glossop and the Community Dental Service in Ashton-under-Lyne. After gaining
her Therapist qualification she is currently working in Salford. Nicola will be
